Elon Musk gets chastised by Binance CEO Binance for bringing up Dogecoin concerns.
The world’s richest man is pressuring Binance to fix some of his favorite digital currency’s faults.
Due to persistent challenges with Dogecoin (DOGE) withdrawals on Binance, Twitter has become the stage for yet another cryptocurrency conflict.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and a strong Dogecoin supporter, came to Twitter on Tuesday to raise concerns about DOGE withdrawals on Binance. “What’s going on with your Doge customers?” Musk said, tagging Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao. “Seems dodgy.”
Binance’s official Twitter account responded in roughly 30 minutes, claiming that the issue isn’t dodgy and referencing a recent Twitter update on the issue. “The fundamental reason is a technical fault that occurred during the recent upgrade process, resulting in the resending of previous transactions to 1,674 users,” Binance explained.
Some Binance customers have received outdated transactions as a result of the problem, while others have been unable to withdraw their Dogecoin. “We’ve politely requested that people who get the old transactions return them, however we’re aware that some users are having difficulty accessing their wallets.”
