It’s been a tumultuous morning, with support levels put to the test early on. A return to $4,650, on the other hand, would put $4,800 levels and the ATH of $4,868 into play.
The Morning Session
Ethereum was down 1.08 percent to $4,538 at the time of writing.
Ethereum had a mixed start to the day, rising to an early morning high of $4,623 before sliding to a low of $4,455.
While falling short of the first major resistance level at $4,739, Ethereum breached the first major support level at $4,481 before temporarily returning to $4,600 levels.
However, a late-morning downturn saw Ethereum briefly slip below $4,500.
For the Afternoon Ahead
To reach the first big resistance level at $4,739, Ethereum would need to break past the $4,633 pivot. However, a significant amount of support would be required for Ethereum to break out of the $4,650 range.
