In a bogus tweet, hackers pushed Bitcoin.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Twitter Account Has Been Hacked, and Bitcoin Has Been Promoted In A Tweet

On a night between December 11 and December 12, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Twitter account was hacked, and a tweet concerning Bitcoin was released.

“India has officially embraced bitcoin as legal money,” according to the tweet. The government has purchased 500 BTC and is giving them to all citizens of the nation.” The problem was swiftly resolved by Twitter, and India recovered control of the account.

While such attacks receive a lot of attention, they do not always have a significant influence on cryptocurrency values. It’s an interesting instance for traders who want to trade such news (which will definitely occur in the future because hackers are constantly active and succeed from time to time), as the latest attack gives a chance to examine Bitcoin’s price response.

There are no unusual patterns in the Bitcoin price dynamics.
