Because time has started to go by faster and faster, or so it seems to me lately, it’s time to give up Netflix and HBO subscriptions which together cost me about $20 every month.
I know it’s not a tremendous amount but money wasn’t what made me give up these subscriptions.

Without realizing it when you get subscriptions and these kinds of platforms push you to watch as many movies and series as possible.
This way you lose maybe 2 hours of your life every day watching a series, this in the happy case because I know people who when they get home from work at 5 pm and until night just watch Netflix.

Plus on weekends instead of going out in nature and spending time with your family you end up wasting your time in front of a TV, not realizing how precious this time is.
For me this has been the best motivation and that is the fact that even so I have few free hours when I am not at work or on Medium so that time I want to spend with my family in nature and not in front of the TV.

If there is a movie that I want to see or a movie comes on that I want to see then I can go to the cinema and with a maximum of 15$ I managed to see it.
Besides, the atmosphere at home can never compare to the cinema, at least for me.
In any case on this kind of platforms Netflix or HBO new movies appear only after they have been in the cinema for a month maybe even longer.

Was it a good decision to quit Netflix and HBO subscriptions?
