Is it a good investment to put money in ETHEREUM?
Ethereum is a worldwide computer for executing decentralized programs, not a money (dApps). Ether (ETH) is the money that drives the Ethereum network, and it’s the only way to pay for your app or transaction to be processed on the highly sought-after Ethereum blockchain.
While Bitcoin is an excellent store of wealth, unlike Ethereum, it does not enable smart contracts. Ethereum, on the other hand, is arguably just as competent as a store of value. Since its launch in 2015, Ether has been vying with Bitcoin for the title of biggest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, and came close to overtaking Bitcoin in February 2018. Since then, both of these currencies have reached new all-time highs, and there looks to be more opportunity for growth in 2021. According to some analysts, Ethereum will “flip” Bitcoin this market cycle, becoming the most valuable blockchain and cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
However, the issue remains: is cryptocurrency a sound investment?
The bitcoin market is unquestionably more volatile than the stock market. This may not be the market for you if you are very risk averse. Ethereum, on the other hand, may be a wonderful investment for you if you’re a diamond-handed investor who won’t lose sight of short-term losses.
