Since 2018, Bitcoin has increased by 7% to 36% in the first week of January.
Some analysts predict that Bitcoin will skyrocket in the near future once all institutional selling is done and capital is invested into the market.
Some crypto market experts are stressing the possibility of a green first week in January on the crypto markets as part of what economist and trader Alex Krüger refers to as the “first week of the year impact.”
Krüger noted in a Dec. 29 tweet that Bitcoin (BTC) has seen positive returns in the first week of January for the previous four years in a row, ranging from 7% to 36% between 2018 and 2021.
In the first week of January 2021, BTC increased from $28,653 to $41,441.
When queried about prior years’ events, Krüger responded, “tbf just 2020 and 2021 matter, separate markets, so do with those two data points what you will.”
