Gratitude list. No eye rolling, please. If you take the time to reflect on how many blessings have entered your life since you quit drinking, you won’t want to blow all that for a gulp of ethanol. Make that list — citing people who have helped you and the deep, restorative sleep you experience now. How much better does your skin and body look and feel? Have you saved your marriage or been promoted? Keep going — there are dozens of ways you’re grateful. Think about it and write it down. Later, you can read the list to yourself when you need a reminder.
