The battery in the iPhone 15 will be 3877 mAh, an increase of 18% over the battery in the iPhone 14. The battery capacity of the iPhone 15 Plus is 4912 mAh. A 3650 mAh battery will power the iPhone 15 Pro, while a 4852 mAh battery will power the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Battery life is being improved across the board.
The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will include 35W of wired fast charging, an increase from the previous 27W. For both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, Apple has promised a maximum 20W wired quick charging.
There will be no need for a MagSafe charger if Apple lifts limits on wireless fast charging. The Qi2 wireless charging standard will be supported by Apple, enabling for rapid wireless charging on the iPhone 15.
