Why it’s Important To Write Every Day on Medium
A lot of people argue that the quality of articles is important, and that number doesn’t matter when writing on Medium.
From my point of view when you want to make an income every day on Medium you need to put in work every day an article.
I have had many days where I posted an article that had 40–50 views with a read rate of over 70%, but if the next day I didn’t write another article the number of views was close to 0. This happens because in 24 hours hundreds or even thousands of other new articles are published and your article is extremely far down the list. You may be lucky that Medium boosts your article and then it will stay relevant for several days. Unfortunately this is extremely difficult to achieve.
However, even if your article is not boosted by Medium you can maintain a high number of views if you keep writing an article every day. This keeps you visible among readers who usually choose to search for more articles after seeing a new article.
This is why it is necessary to maintain a high quality of information when writing an article. Any newly written article should make the reader want to know more about the writer and his/her work.
So in my opinion don’t let more than 2 days go by without writing an article on Medium if you don’t want the number of views to decrease.
